Noah's Auto-ethnographic Poem

Noah Williams’s Poem

My Name is Noah Williams

Don’t I matter?

Why is it that complexion, pigmentation, because I’m saying it, it

determines certain situations.

Where I’m from, where I stand, where will my destinations be.

How will we protect the places we see.

What and how I speak can tear down the meek or build you too, so you hear me too.

How I move, must it persist, mimic me at your own risk,

It’s seemed as if I'm lost,

I can buy a telescope to see the North Star, but will it be worth the cost? To not be lost.

Align my dollar with wit and power; corporations are cowards. What am I to do.

poly-sci over Wi-Fi with a dash of good religion.

Who I am And What I believe will always determine my mission,

"Homeostasis Hopeboy's Great Commission to Don't Snooze" a Villanelle Poem by Noah Williams

When we vote this November, we vote on democracy.

That right alone is important.

To have a choice is to have a choice, to hell with all the hypocrisy.

Enslaved Americans would and have died for that right.

Some imprisoned Americans don't have a voice.

Tell me, do you think democracy is worth the fight?

Where and when do we draw the line

This position is new to us.

Is it dangerous to say, Oh Well be Fine.

The power is ours, despite the powers that be.

But PACS, but laws, but lies about facts,

Make it so that hope is hard to see.

We may not have another chance to choose.

If you could, you should, so ask yourself, “should I if I can”?

Champions are winners because they compete until they lose.

Vote for who you want, I will not give you any clues on who.

The fat cats knew news gives us the blues so I guess don’t watch it, look out for you.

Have hope for the future no matter what you do.
